Manual Handling Training
The HSE figures still show that Manual Handling and Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI), are still one of the main causes of injury in the workplace. Many of these injuries are reportable to the HSE under the requirements of RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations).
It should also be noted that Manual Handling and Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) are still the major reason for successful ‘no-win / no fee’ litigation claims.
Our training course is geared to enable your employees to conduct their working activities in a safe manner in-line with the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.
We will provide an understanding of how Manual Handling injuries occur and by then providing
an understanding of appropriate lifting techniques, reduce the chance of these injuries by being able to identify the risks prior to an incident occurring.
